"Tonic" belongs to Gary and Vicki Hose in New Zealand and he is their first Japanese Chin and they have exceptionally well with him. His presentation is excellent and he is very outgoing. "Tonic" loves to be shown and is a real showman.
"Tonic" is litter brother to Aust Ch Sesukan Chin Panzee and NZ Ch Sesukan Takeitonthe Chin "Panda".
Since arriving in New Zealand he took the Chin ring by storm winning Best of Breed (against up to a dozen older dogs) from baby class. He won 2 BOB (13 Chins entered) at 7 months of age. He has had many Class in Group wins. He is MULTI In Group - including Best in Group & R/UP BIG at Ribbon Parades at 4-5 months of age. He won Runner up Best in Show at the Toy Speciality Show in 2004.
In September 2007 "Tonic" was awarded his 100th Challenge Certificates (a breed record in New Zealand!!!!)
